When an Abstract Artist Goes to Drawing Class
I still consider myself a painter first, but have really enjoyed growing in my ability to draw. Hopefully it will improve my painting skills. Enjoy!

Four new paintings
Title: Playing with Pollock 1
Acrylic on canvas
30" x 10"
I have always liked the idea of throwing paint on a canvas and Jackson Pollock is one of my favorite painters. I gave it a try and this is what happened.
Title: Playing with Pollock 2
Acrylic on canvas
30" x 10"
Title: Circles in the Wind
Acrylic on canvas
24" x 24"
I broke a brush while I was putting a background color on this painting and decided to spread the bristles around the canvas. Then I painted the circles which look as though they are being carried in the wind because of the bristles.
